Peggy’s Classes at ERCLC

Hello. I teach high school English classes, as well as drama and yoga at ERCLC.

The High School English Classes in a Nutshell:

Daily Reading - 3 books from the approved reading list per semester. 2 Book Responses turned into your educational coordinator per semester. Students should read a minimum of 30 minutes a day on their own.

Writing – One major writing assignment each month, taken through the writing process, and scored by the parent with the 6+1 Writing Traits Rubric. (Other writing is, of course, encouraged!)

Textbook Assignments – There will be monthly assignments posted for each class in the assigned textbook.

I will be posting assignments on each class page for English 1, English 2, and American Lit.
